Caper Sauce

I was going through my fridge and came across a bottle of capers. I LOVE the tartness of capers in a salad, but wanted it in a sauce for dipping or to use with pasta or chicken.


Caper Sauce

Servings: 7-8 servings

Total Time: 10 minutes


1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice

1 cup Buttermilk

2 Tbsp. Capers (drained)

1/4 cup Mayonnaise

3 Tbsp. Parsley (minced)

2 Tbsp. Chives (minced)

1 Tbsp. Basil (minced)

2 Garlic cloves (minced)


Combine all ingredients in a Mason jar or a lid-tight container. Seal the lid tight and shake until the sauce looks even distributed.

Taste and season with a pinch of salt (or garlic salt) and pepper.

Refrigerate until chilled (dressing should last for a week).
