Lemon Pepper Wings

It’s football season and who watches a game without eating some tasty chicken wings! Lemon pepper chicken is one of my favorite chicken recipes to make, it’s fast and easy! I wanted to make some wings for the game on Sunday and decided to make Lemon Pepper Wings.


When I grabbed the wings from the fridge, I saw a bottle of my Caper Sauce and thought about how appetizing that would taste with the wings. To my excitement, they worked perfect! The tartness of the capers and the buttery-ness of the wings worked impeccably!

Lemon Pepper Wings

Servings: 3-4 servings

Total Time: 1 hour


12 Chicken Wings

1 Butter Cube (melted)

1/4 cup Fresh Lemon Juice

2 Tbsp. Black Pepper (ground)

(1 tsp. bottled lemon juice and 3 Tbsp. Lemon Pepper if you want to eliminate the fresh lemon juice and black pepper)

3 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar

1 tsp. Cayenne Pepper (optional to add a kick)



Combine all the ingredients in a plastic Ziploc bag and shake for a few seconds. Let the bag sit in the fridge for about 30 minutes allowing the vinegar n flavors to soak a little. 

Preheat oven to 400 degrees (do this 10 minutes before you bake the wings)


While that is preheating, spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray and lay the wings out on the sheet (or onto the foil if you put that on top of the sheet)

Bake the wings for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown!


Serve hot and you can try the Caper Sauce with them!
