Ras El Hanout is aromatic Moroccan traditional spice blend. It is also used in Arabic and Sephardic Jewish cuisines. Ras El Hanout translates to “top of the shop”, representing the best blend a spice merchant would sell. With its multiple ingredients, it pairs deliciously with many Middle Eastern vegetable dishes, and is a wonderful seasoning for curried rice and roasted vegetables.
Mix the following ingredients together:
1 tsp. Ground Cumin
1 tsp. Ground Ginger
1 tsp. Salt
3/4 tsp. Freshly Ground Black Pepper
1/2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Ground Coriander Seeds
1/2 tsp. Cayenne
1/2 tsp. Ground Anise
1/2 tsp. Ground Allspice
1/4 tsp. Ground Cloves
